How fast time flies~
In a blink of an eye, year 2010 has come to its end, inviting a new year for all of us~
2010 has been a roller coaster ride for me.
There had been ups and downs. Side to side too, maybe. But it was definitely not just another boring year. It began with a blast, and ended with a blast too. Not to mention how much fun I had in Comic Fiesta. That was definitely a really awesome way to end the year.
And also the victory of Malaysia in the AFF Suzuki Cup just last week~ sweet sweet victory for Malaysia~ XD
In between the beginning and the end, there were lots of events in life that were going around too, making my life even more fun and interesting~ and a bit...sad too~
But heck, it was really a fun year~ :D
And also, it was the last year of my high school life, so yeah, the high school memories does make me feel kinds emo~ :'D
So, I hereby wish all of you....
HAPPY 2011 !!!!!!
MAY ALL YOUR WISHES COME TRUE IN THIS NEW AND JOYFUL YEAR!!!!
=====================================
So, a new year means new wishes and also new year resolutions.
Well, since my life was pretty screwed up last year, so these are my top 5 resolutions that I have for this new year:
1. Improve in my cosplays
Argh~ a main problem that has been haunting me since I began cosplaying back in June. When I first started out...needless to say, although I felt a little a happy about finally getting the chance to cosplay, but...after reviewing it again, I thought it was rather sucky. I was complemented by quite some people about my Miku in the recent Comic Fiesta that I looked so much better compared to the June photoshoot (which I doubt if it even is a photoshoot). Thanks to all who complemented~ ^^
My aim is not to become the BEST cosplayer in Malaysia, but just to be a very good cosplayer. I want to do so, so I shall improve my cosplays this year and make it even much more better than last year~ and to do that, I'll have to do my homework: do more research, review my past cosplays and try to find out mistakes so that I can repair it, make international cosplay icons as my source of cosplay references, and just have fun with it!! XD
2. Improve (and hopefully try~~) on my makeup skills for both cosplays and casual outings
So far, all my makeup for my cosplays (well...Miku so far~) are done by my one and only Hanatsu deshuuu~ :3 I relied on her til this day for her to do my makeup because she's been experimenting on makeup for cosplays since before. But, I was thinking, since I'm the one cosplaying, so I should be the one to do my own makeup so that I won't always bug her to do the makeup for me. Besides, it's my own face, so I should at least take the effort to make it look nice for photoshoots, right? XD
Not just for cosplays, but also for casual outings with family and friends. Well, what's the use of me buying all the eyeliners and eyeshadows if I don't use them at all? 8)
3. Be more careful on how I spend my money
This is definitely the biggest problem for all cosplayers unless they are Bill Gate's child or Mark Zuckerberg's extra-special best friend or if they are really really good in making their own costumes. Well, for this year, I'll have to watch my expenses so that I can enough money to support both my everyday budget and my cosplay budget as well. To do so, I've cut down my cosplay plans for this year to only Miku Cantarella, Miku Madness of Duke Venomania and Ciel Phantomhive. And I've also devised a plan to save at least RM30 into my bank acc every month from the allowance given by my dad every month and not to buy anything useless regardless on how much I really want to own it. That's the sacrifice that I have to do in order to continue to cosplay.
And also, I will sell some of my unwanted stuffs such as mangas, DVDs, posters and some other things to get back the money that I've spent on them and use the money on something else, or even better, save it up.
To add it all up, since I'll be starting college this year, I gotta hope that my SPM results is good enough to get me sufficient scholarship so that my dad doesn't have to be burdened by the thought of paying the expenses for college.
4. Be a more loving sister to both my sisters and a more loving daughter
This year, I noticed that the SPM stress got to me so bad, that my brain was fried and became haywired. In the end, I made it control my emotions, making me lose control of my temper whenever they say something that hurts me emotionally, even if it was just a small tiny issue. So, this year, I promise myself to not let my head get to me and treat them the way I should treat them.
The same thing is implemented for me towards my parents. I have been going against them a lot lately. So to prevent myself from finally resorting to hating them, I will try to change myself for the best and become a better daughter to them, the cheerful jovial daughter that they used to know.
5. LOSE THESE DARN EXTRA POUNDS!!!!
Since form 2, I find it hard to control on my sleeping and eating habits until I gained a lot of weight. Until now, it's still here. Though I did lose some pounds over the years, but I can still see the extra fat around my tummy and thighs. ;w;
Moreover, now that I'm a cosplayer, many of my friends have suggested for me to shed this pounds. So, to fulfill their suggestions and also for my self-esteem, I'd really wanna lose these extra fats and become not thinner, but slimmer, more fit and healthier in overall terms.
And plus, I really wanna fit back into all my pretty old jeans~ >w<
So, now that you've my top 5 resolutions, you should get to know a little bit more about the type of person I am.
So, what are your new year resolutions for 2011?
:D

A lot of my friends have been doing this in Facebook, posting up cosplay photos of themselves and editing them to put season greetings on the photo to greet everyone.
But, since I don't have the skills and talent to do so, this is just how much I can do to wish all of you a very happy new year.
A little photo of me to wish you all a very happy new year~ :D
