Today.....10 Apr 2010....was a freakin nightmare....O.O

Why say so...?

COZ WE LOST IN THE KEPONG OPEN TAEKWONDO TOURNAMENT WITHOUT KNOWING THAT VICTORY WASN'T ON SIDE~~~~~

Well...I think it's not THAT bad...I mean, lots of the strongest taekwondo teams were present today~~but it's only the Kepong Open and not MSSKL yet.......and I bet I'll be shaking my legs off if it was MSSKL~~

The poomsae event started WAYYYY earlier than scheduled...on the schedule, it states that the poomsae event starts at 1.00pm, but without preparation, we recieved the news like, THREE HOURS EARLIER!!!

The poomsae event started at 10.00am!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!! There wasn't enough time to prepare ourselves!!!!

The poomsae event was kinda like a knockout round. Two people would go perform their own taegeuk and the one who is chosen as the best among the two by the judges would be paired with another opponent and the same thing goes again until one remains standing as champion. Kinda lame system thought, since you can't obviously see whose taegeuk was nicer. And yeah, obviously I did my freakin best and yet they gave the victory to my damn opponent who...well...as I observed, WASN'T THAT MUCH OF A GREAT OPPONENT AFTER ALL!!!!!! I know I did better than her, but I just don't know what makes the judges pick her. Maybe they see things differently, who knows? But I know that I did my best and that's all that matters...that's what everyone tells me, so I guess that's the reality then~

Well....one good thing by going to this tournament is that I don't need to go to today's merentas desa~~although I REALLY wanna go that badly, but well....I just don't have that running mood anyway~~ :3

I feel sleepy....but I just can't sleep...is it because of my lost??? Hehe, not sure tho...but it's for sure that tomorrow I'm going back there coz my younger sis is gonna be competing~really wish her all the best!!!!! XD

And guess what....VIP just don't arrive on time....he arrived a good 30 minutes late for the opening ceremony~ orz...

half-dead me...heheh...this is in Michiru's car, on the way home, around 4pm ++....nothing to do...tooo tired to talk, so just camwhore...hahahahhhh~~~ XD

05 April 2010 (2): The Story of Hachiko~

The poster says it all: it's another movie about a dog...but this is not just another ordinary story about a dog, it really is different from normal dog stories...it touches the heart of both dog lovers and non-dog lovers...it  describes on how strong an undying love can be and it not only can be shown between humans, but also together with man's best friend - DOGS

I bought the DVD last week (well...from pasar malam...XD) and usually I'd always take any DVD I see that has the picture of dogs on it....it's been my habit since before, since I'm a total dog lover~ :3

 The title catches my attention~ and the heading that states it is based on a true story~

"A Story of Hachiko" tells the story of an Akita dog, called Hachi, who was sent from Japan to America to be given to someone. But unfortunately, the address tag that contains the address that Hachi was supposed to be sent to tore off and he was abandoned in the train station in America.

Lost and confused, Hachi wandered across the station and was found by a local university professor, Parker Wilson. Parker was desperate to find it's owner, but no one came forward to claim Hachi, so he decides to keep Hachi for himself. But his wife, Cate, dislikes animals and rejected Parker's wish to keep Hachi. But after witnessing the tight bond formed between Hachi and Parker, Cate finally agrees to let Parker keep Hachi.

A few years later, Hachi grew up and is as loyal as ever to Parker and his family. He would always follow Parker to the train station, kinda like sending him to the station. At precisely 5 pm everyday, Hachi would wait at the train station for Parker and walk home together with him.

One day, Parker passed away while in the middle of teaching his class. Hachi had no idea of his passing and continued to loyally wait for Parker to arrive at the station, everyday at 5pm. He didn't care about the weather or season. He continues to wait for Parker everyday, the exact same spot, the exact same time.

For 10 years, that was how Hachi waited for Parker. With the help of a few local residents, they took care of him in ways they can do, and they are touched by the loyalty and devotion of Hachi. Seeing how Hachi continued to wait without ever getting bored, it shows how devoted he is towards Parker.

Eventually, Hachi's life came to the end and he left this world in the spot where he sits to wait for Parker, lying down there, recalling on all the sweet memories that he spent with Parker and his family.......

My personal review:

AWESOMENESS!!!!! It's the movie that made me cried to the max!!!!! Compared to "Koizora", "The Story of Hachiko" touched my heart directly as it is related to how I love my dog and his devotion to my family and I...it is way better than watching "Koizora" as I've never experienced loving a partner in my whole life before (althought I do understand how Mika feels on the whole situation in her life)..."The Story of Hachiko" is far better than watching any typical soap opera and it is definitely the movie that made me finish the whole tissue box (no, seriously, I finished the whole tissue box~ XD)

I started to cry from the moment after Parker passed away and how Hachi didn't know about that sad reality yet still continues to wait for Parker everyday...that started halfway through the whole story and, yeah, I cried from that moment on all the way until the end of the movie. By the time I finished watching it, my eyes were freakin red and I couldn't speak properly~ after crying for nearly one hour, my throat felt as if it was stuck and no voice could come out for at least half an hour~ XD

I love this movie so much...I wanna watch it again after my exams....see whether I can cry as bad as I did today~~ X3 haha, that's not the point....but I really love on how faithful, loyal and devoted Hachi is towards Parker.

Plus, the background music really adds to it!!!!! Makes me feel the emotion along the movie~ not much of a comedy...it's good coz they wanna focus on the undying love between Hachi and Parker~ <3

This is seriously recommended to those who love to watch movies regarding dogs and for those who just love to watch movies that'll make you cry~ (like me~ XD it's a habit that I seem to get since god knows when~ XD)

So, yesterday was a fun day since I got to go release my stress by shopping in Mid Valley yesterday~ :3

Since it was the last day of the Sony Expo yesterday, so there was a lot of people there....sesak nafas.... O.O

These are the few pics I took from yesterday. Since I can't think of what to write (my brain is jam-packed with Physics stuff...... QwQ), so I think I'll just explain the rest of my day with these pics below (and maybe I can think of something to write as I go~ :3)

Yes....they DO have it in manhwa version!!!!! (P.S: "Manhwa" is Korean for manga~) Haha....really wanna read it but notice the plastic...XD  the book which has already been unwrapped is being read by another girl at that time, so I didn't get to see the inside of it....I would really like to know how does it look like on the inside though~~ XD

This is the new book, "The Host", written by the author of The Twilight Saga, Stephenie Meyer (haha, sounds as if I'm the one who wrote it~ I'm famous, hahahahahhhhh~ *gets shot*)

The book, "Shiver", that Michiru bought last two months from Scholastics...hehe....I also found it in MPH, but of course the price is freakin expensive~ XD

After dinner, we went to Hartamas Shopping Centre to fetch my younger sis's spectacles~

I saw this cake in the shape of a castle just outside the optical shop where my younger sis's specs were made...I think this castle cake is so darn kiut~!!! someone buy for me on my b'day~~~ :3

Haha....found this odd-looking specs in the tray....perfect to be worn to cosplay as Harry Potter....anyone want it?? XD

Hahhhh......finally.....

BACK AT HOME~

My new sandals that I bought from Nose in Mid Valley~ really love it~ my leg hurts while walking around M.Valley and I was wearing platform heels....so I got the chance to wear my new sandals before going home~ really comfy~ :3

Ahh....it's been a long time since I can find a time to sit down and write my blog...due to my hectic schedule...exams exams exams....they just keep coming to you when you don't want them to... O.O
Btw, second week of exams are over....at least Bio is over...and I think I did well for Bio...Sejarah...uhh...maybe............hopefully what I wrote on my paper will make sense....I felt confident when I wrote my answers....until I checked my text book after the paper was over....so much of the answers that I thought was right...WAS WRONG!!!!! Well, some of it, that is.....XD

This morning, I had to force myself to wake up at 6:30 am to prepare to go to taekwondo practice at St.John Institution. Michiru picked me up at 7:30 am....when we were supposed to be there by 7:30 am!!!!!!!! Ah, well...we were already expecting punishment to be thrown at us anyways....to run up and down the stairs of 4 storeys high....FIVE ROUNDS~ Q.Q....this resulted in my freakin' sore legs......I bet it'll be worse tomorrow....and I'm going out to Mid Valley tomorrow!!!!! Hmph...I'm seeing in the future (tomorrow) that I'll be screaming in pain as I walk around in Mid Valley.... Q.Q

okay...but the outcome of today's training was WOW~~ I really improved on my poomsae, compared to before this~ ehehehhhh~~ I'm SO darn prepared to go for next Saturday's Kepong Baru Tournament and bag that gold medal!!!!!!!!!!! XD

It has always been my dream to get a gold medal in taekwondo ever since I got actively involved in it when I was in form 3~hehehhh~I prefer poomsae better than sparring coz...well...I'm just not that good in sparring and I bet if Master Moi were to send me to the middle of the ring for sparring, I'll be beaten up badly in the first minute~ XD

Tomorrow going to Mid Valley....I bet there's gonna be a lot of people there tomorrow, since the Sony Expo is going on~today was also the Sony Expo cosplay competition...argh...thanx to taekwondo training and my damn aching body, I couldn't make it to go.....Q.Q
ahhh.....dah lah tak larat nak jalan dalam rumah....tomorrow gonna walk around Mid Valley....that's even worse!!!!!! Why not I just go grab myself a VIP ticket to F1 Malaysia and go to Sepang where I don't need to walk around too much~~ XD *money flies away*

Ahh......today so damn tired.....just now when I took my afternoon nap (yes, SHOCKER!!! I take afternoon naps!!!!!!!) I couldn't wake up....just feel like wanna continue to sleep til next morning....Q.Q
Whole body aching....it's been so long since my body felt this pain...so darn terrible....the instructor was so damn strict........

Ah well....as I said, the outcome was sweet....hopefully next week, Pn.Tan won't have the Media meeting so that I can go for taekwondo training~~ :3

oww....my pain is getting worse....muscle cramps everywhere....
